When asked about the technology’s viability, Joseph says, “The threshold cost of setting up a digital twin is estimated at around $50,000, and the use of digital twins saves companies 20-30% of development costs on average, making it a high-tech system that would conventionally cost twice as much to implement as a traditional production system.”
