Clara Lee and Jin Jia Yu Join BKKIFF 2026, Connecting International Entertainment with Thai Culture


Bangkok, Thailand Oct 8, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - Thai Society (Thailand) Co., Ltd., led by Anchana Thongyai Na Ayudhya, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), played a key role in connecting international entertainment talent with Thailand through the Bangkok International Film Festival 2026 (BKKIFF 2026), held from September 13-27, 2026. The festival was supported by the Department of Cultural Promotion, Ministry of Culture, under the leadership of Ms. Sabeeda Thaised, Minister of Culture.

Thai Society coordinated the participation of Clara Lee, an actress from South Korea, and Jin Jia Yu, an actor from China. Both stars attended the festival's opening ceremony and red-carpet event, joining filmmakers, actors and entertainment professionals from around the world.

As part of the cultural experiences offered to international stars visiting Thailand, Clara Lee and other international guests visited the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles to explore the country's rich textile heritage and craftsmanship. Clara Lee also showcased Thai cultural elegance in a traditional Thai ensemble by FINALE Wedding Studio, highlighting the connection between international talent and Thai heritage.

The festival experience continued with the prestigious SURATSAWADI GALA & AWARD NIGHT, where Clara Lee received the SURATSAWADI HONORARY AWARD. The event celebrated international talent, bringing together artists from across the region, including Jeong Jinwoon (South Korea), Shun Shioya (Japan), Bront Palarae (Malaysia), Yesaya Abraham Sitanggang (Indonesia), Fakhrul Razi and Nazirul Wardy (Brunei), as well as Anita Vipha Yaganegi and Aliya Southammavong (Laos).
