Houston-based NatGasHub.com was named by Risk.net as the 2020 award winner for the “Best Energy Technology Innovation” for creating software that automates the natural gas scheduling process. Risk.net’s annual Energy Awards highlight innovation, leadership and superior performance. Winning companies will be presented their awards at a special event to be held at the Westin Galleria Hotel in Houston on Sept. 22, 2020.
Risk.net selected NatGasHub.com based on a number of criteria determined by an experienced evaluation panel consisting of energy industry professionals. The awards focus on innovation in trading and risk management and how that benefits the wider market.
NatGasHub.com is a single portal connecting 150 pipelines and automating the flow of nominations and scheduled quantities from the pipeline operator through to the gas shipper’s energy trading and risk management (ETRM) system. Over $100 million worth of nomination transactions is executed using NatGasHub.com’s breakthrough software every month. “Behind the scenes, we connect companies with all of these pipelines.
