IdeaPros believes that more US entrepreneurs would be successful if they had access to professional support. The new program is designed to fill this gap, and the firm is accepting applications for its upcoming selection process, during which candidates will undertake a multi-stage interview process.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 20% of startups fail within the first year, with those numbers increasing to 50% by the end of the fifth year. Along with a lack of money, Investopedia reports the most common reasons for failure as being insufficient knowledge, ineffective marketing, little or no market research, or targeting the wrong market.
Aiming to combat these downfalls, IdeaPros’ new program incorporates a multidisciplinary team that includes market research, launch strategies, engineering and development, branding, and sourcing. Those invited to participate will be offered assistance at each stage of development, from initial concept to nationwide product launch.
In addition, candidates are offered personal mentoring by the program’s in-house community of successful entrepreneurs. The goal is to not only support innovative ideas but also to encourage the development of business skills among new entrepreneurs.
About IdeaPros
To date, IdeaPros has already been involved in the launch of multiple successful products. Examples include an enterprise-level communication platform, a homemade toffee product, and a snow and ice road-clearing device. Candidates can now submit applications via the IdeaPros website.
One participant in the program recently stated: “A company like IdeaPros is there to be a resource for you. You have somebody that can actually help you through the process. You have someone that's been through it throughout their entire life in their career and helped several other entrepreneurs get through the process as well.”
