Miami Matchmakers Are Sending Their Clients to a Photographer: Odette Photo+Art Is Becoming the Standard for Dating Profile Photography Across South Florida
Oct 5, 2026
A 2025 peer-reviewed study confirms that profile photos dominate online dating decisions far more than bio, job, or personality. Odette Photo+Art is now the referral of choice for Miami matchmakers seeking a photographer whose guided sessions help clients show up as their actual selves.
Coral Gables, Florida, United States, October 5, 2026 -- Most people treat online dating like a writing problem, taking a lot of time to polish their bios and openers. However, research shows these efforts operate in the shadow of the profile photo. As per reports published on the Science Blog, people form stable impressions of attractiveness, likeability, trustworthiness, and competence from a face in as little as 100 milliseconds (0.1 seconds).
A Newsweek analysis of 1,000 Tinder profiles found clear, well-lit headshots dominate. The brain judges the photo before reading the bio, so the image drives the swipe far more than bio, background, or shared interests. Personality still matters, but the photo influences many swipe decisions. Many of those passes aren't rejections of the person, but rejections of an image that failed to convey warmth, authenticity, or presence that attracts.
Dating profile photography at Odette Photo+Art starts from a direct premise: most profile photos fail not because of the person in them, but because the image was never built to reveal that person. Clients arrive with photos that hide their personality. Odette identifies this as a photography problem, not a personal one, and one that the right environment and direction can fix. As she tells clients: "You don't need to know how to pose. You just need to show up." - Odette, Odette Photo+Art
Odette Photo+Art is an established Miami dating photography service trusted across South Florida by professional matchmakers and dating coaches who refer high-achieving singles seeking meaningful connections on Hinge, Bumble, Tinder, and Millionaire Match.
"Odette is the best lifestyle and dating photographer in South Florida. I've sent all of my clients to her for photos for years. It's a perspective shared by dating professionals across the country. Odette Photo+Art has received referrals from matchmakers and dating coaches in multiple states, as well as from elite private matchmaking clubs in Miami, reflecting a level of trust that extends well beyond a single market.
The experience begins with a planning consultation and wardrobe guidance, followed by a guided session across Miami neighborhoods chosen to match the client's personality and the tone they want to project. Sessions take place on location across Brickell, Wynwood, Coral Gables, South Beach, and Coconut Grove. Natural posing and expression direction are central to the process. The final gallery is curated and optimized for dating profile use to perform across multiple platforms and attract the quality of match the client is looking for. Sessions begin at $1,500, and free consultations are available without obligation.
"Odette is my go-to photographer for all my Miami-based dating coaching clients. Her ability to make people feel comfortable, confident, and natural in front of the camera is a true gift. She knows exactly how to bring out your personality and capture the kind of photos that will give you a top-performing profile on apps like Hinge and Bumble. Every client I've sent her way has come back raving about the experience." - Tara Bratt, Dating Coach
Clients echo that experience. What sets Odette Photo+Art apart for referral partners isn't just the quality of the final images but the reliability of the client experience. Matchmakers and dating coaches stake their own reputation on every referral made. A photographer who can be trusted to photograph camera-shy, high-achieving clients with patience, professionalism, and discretion isn't easy to find. With Miami dating photography, the goal isn't just more matches. It's better-fit matches.
