Nottingham, United Kingdom - June 11, 2021 /PressCable/ —

Earlier today, FlexiScale Technologies Limited announced the launch of its new Data Centre Colocation facility in Lincoln. The Lincoln Data Centre is connected to the company’s other facilities in London and Nottingham. The main aim is to provide flexible, high density Colocation Solutions, in addition to FlexiScale’s Cloud Services, with reduced energy consumption and carbon footprint, by using the latest, highly efficient cooling and data centre infrastructure but it does so, with a difference.

Rajinder Basi, CEO at FlexiScale, says “We aimed to deliver something new with our Data Centre Colocation Services. Anyone familiar with the Data Centre Colocation market will probably have noticed how everyone else seems to use old technology that is inefficient and leads to much higher energy consumption. This is a problem because it means more expense for clients as well as having an increased environmental impact with a high carbon footprint. FlexiScale’s Lincoln Data Centre has been awarded Gold status by CEEDA for both design and operate. CEEDA is the global energy efficiency assessment framework for data centres. Fewer than 20 data centres hold gold-level certification globally. Our facility is only the second Colocation Data Centre to receive Gold for both design and operate.”

So as a welcome breath of fresh air, FlexiScale will instead provide flexible, higher density options with lowered energy consumption helping organisations meet their environmental commitments. FlexiScale chose to make this move to decarbonise the data centre and help their clients reduce their carbon footprint.

Rajinder Basi also said “We want to give our customers scalable, easy to upgrade Colocation Services with flexible contract lengths. With our new Lincoln Data Centre Colocation Solutions, they have a fresh new possibility and we want them to feel confident that they are in a secure and reliable facility with market leading environmental credentials.”

FlexiScale Technologies Limited has been in business for 22 years, being established in 1999. Since day one it has always aimed to provide the most environmentally friendly next generation, green Data Centres and Cloud Services.
