The launch of this retreat center came after a major remodeling and updating effort. The cottages that sit on the property are ready for letting. The property overlooks the Helford River and is on the Calamansac estate.
The launch of this center offers many features to aid those planning a retreat. The location of this holiday center is on fifty acres on the Helford River estuary and Port Navas creek. This spot is the home of West Beach.
This secluded location provides an environment as described in ‘Swallows and Amazons’. There are moorings, ample space for boat parking, and space for children to roam.
The natural beauty of the waterways, original growth timber and year-round flowers including camellias, snowdrops, magnolias, bluebells, anemones, and roses all lend themselves to peace and tranquility. This makes the Calamansac Estate a good choice for retreats that require these factors.
Yoga, artist, meditation, painting, writing, swimming, and singing groups are invited to investigate this location. Cornish Holiday Cottages, which manages holiday lets at Calamansac, expects to see a growth in retreat bookings over the next few years.
The company’s owner Emily Boriosi said, “Calamansac is perfect for this kind of wellbeing break. With private access to the river and woodland, it’s a beautiful place to relax, unwind and practice or learn a new skill.”
Retreat guests have the choice of three separate self-catering holiday properties, which can be hired exclusively for events. There are three cottages available to wellbeing and health groups.
They sleep a total of 27. East Wing sleeps 11 and is dog and child-friendly. West Wing sleeps 9 and is child and dog-friendly. The Sail Loft sleeps 7 and is dog-friendly but not child-friendly. All cottages are located on the 50-acre gardens that encompass the estate. All units have river views.
