LapWrap, LLC’s recent announcement provides customers with a hypoallergenic, temperature-regulating alternative to traditional blankets, offering the same level of warmth and coziness without the weight of layers of wool.
Thought up, designed and manufactured entirely in the USA, the Warmer Upper is the modern solution to staying warm at home or when out and about in the chillier months and late evenings. Created in a simple but smart L-shaped design, the blanket uses two ‘wings’ to make a shape that effectively wraps around the user for a tucked-in, cozy feel.
Made using special thermal fabric that was originally developed for the U.S Special Forces, users can rest assured that their body temperature will be regulated and kept at a suitable level during use. As such, the item is particularly helpful for those with limited mobility or the elderly, who may struggle to move around or deal with the weight of regular blankets.
Easy to fold and travel with, the lightweight blanket also features a clever Clear-View Touch-Sensitive Pouch, which is located on the front (or top) of the blanket when in use. The transparent plastic is optimally sized to store smart devices such as cell phones and tablets, and is touch-sensitive to allow use without removing the item from the pocket. The blanket comes with a universal, 6-foot extendable charging cord to charge devices with. Some users have also noted the pocket’s use for storing items such as remote controls when at home, to avoid losing them.
Available in a range of colors including gray and beige, the Warmer Upper can now also be customized, to add personalization, sports teams, names, art, or even business logos and slogans with embroidered designs. These can be requested when adding the item to the basket, and special instructions can be provided during the checkout process.
