In order to remain up to date in his field, David is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Minnesota Nurse Practitioners Association.
A Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is an advanced practice registered nurse who works autonomously or in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, to deliver family-focused care. Given the rather broad nature of the "family" patient population focus, FNPs offer a wide range of healthcare services that revolve around the family unit; from health promotion and disease prevention to direct care and counseling across the lifespan.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, being outdoors, biking, hiking, skiing, hunting, and playing golf. He loves playing hockey and watching all sports, especially live. Originally from Wyoming, he looks forward to exploring his spouse's home state of Minnesota and meeting new people. He loves his career in healthcare and looks forward to helping people improve their quality of life.
