Beverly MA Tree Trimming Service Talks About the Many Benefits of Doing this Important Tree Task

January 12, 2023 - /PressAdvantage/ - Cicoria Tree and Crane Service of Beverly, Massachusetts is one of the most sought-after contractors in its Northeastern Boston area. Since 1981 it has established a reputation for doing work the right way when it comes to such important tree care services as tree removal and stump grinding. Its arborist-led crews are also some of the most adept in the area when it comes to tree trimming. Something that the company owner, Mark Cicoria, wanted to discuss further because he feels that not enough people realize all the ways that trimming benefits trees and overall landscape health.

Cicoria says, “It seems like tree trimming always takes a back seat to maintaining grasses, flowers, and shrubs in a landscape setting. I feel that the reason people often put off tree trimming is that they don’t realize all the benefits to a landscape setting that doing this important tree task offers. Believe me when I say they are many and that’s why I wanted to talk about the benefits of tree trimming and pruning in more detail.”

The company owner says that the benefits of tree trimming start with improving the looks of a landscape setting. When someone looks at their yard before and after tree trimming has been performed the change in looks can be quite dramatic. Trimming and pruning also help encourage trees to grow in an appealing shape and it prevents them from becoming too thick and overgrown which can also take away from a tree’s look. Proper trimming and pruning that’s done by professional tree crews such as theirs will be done in a way that allows more beneficial sunlight through a tree too. Something he says not only benefits the trees that are trimmed but also benefit the plants, shrubs, flowers, and grasses that are planted close to them.

Cicoria mentioned that the trimming and pruning of dead, diseased, and insect-infested branches can also help keep these unhealthy conditions from spreading further throughout a tree and to the surrounding trees and foliage. Many times the company will undertake tree trimming to correct unwanted conditions such as tree branches growing too close to power lines, homes, or other structures on a property. Other tree trimming steps such as crown lifting is done in the interest of not only looks but regarding safety. Crown lifting involves cutting off the lower branches on a tree and that makes them look better and safer to walk under. He mentioned that despite all these benefits of tree trimming, it’s a task that also must be done in the right way and at the right time of year. That’s why he recommends that tree trimming always be performed by knowledgeable and experienced tree professionals. He mentioned that when a tree is trimmed in the wrong way or at the wrong time of year it can harm a tree’s health or even cause it to die. The company owner says that he is always willing to talk to those in Beverly, Swampscott, Salem, Peabody, and other surrounding communities as to how tree trimming will benefit their entire landscape setting.

Those that have used Cicoria Tree and Crane’s tree trimming service often state in reviews that they have been very satisfied with that work. Alex Zorn wrote, “Cicoria pruned a tree in my yard to remove some dead branches that were hanging over my and my neighbor's property. They did an excellent job and left no mess. I had a positive experience working with Mark Cicoria as well as the master arborist who came onsite to consult on a separate issue. The office staff was also highly responsive. I highly recommend this company.” Gene Ricciardelli stated, “They were asked to shape and trim one of my trees so that I could mow under it. Although some of the branches were very low, they did a quick and beautiful job raising the clearance even more than expected. The tree was shaped and thinned professionally and carefully.”

These Cicoria Tree Service reviews were taken from the company’s Google Maps Business Listing where it boasts a very respectable average review score of 4.8 out of a possible 5 stars.
