Award-Winning Short Film Dangerous Launches IndieGoGo Campaign

Jacob Dalton, President of Silver-Flame Studios, has announced the launch of his IndieGoGo Campaign for the award-winning short film Dangerous. The campaign runs for two months and has a goal of 60,000$. Prizes will be awarded to donors including: collectable props used in the movie, signed copies of the poster and script, and the titles of associate and executive producer in the credits. After fundraising, the film will shoot in New Mexico. The cast and crew hope to run in the film festival circuit by 2022.

Jacob Dalton, President of Silver-Flame Studios, has announced the launch of his IndieGoGo Campaign for the award-winning short film Dangerous. The campaign runs for two months and has a goal of 60,000$. Dangerous is a modern neo-noir western written by Jacob Dalton. The short film follows the story of Theo Troezen, a motorcycle riding cowboy on a quest to slay evildoers by whatever means necessary, and Lilly Procter, a rebel trapped in an abusive situation. The two will need each other to survive the schemes of Lilly’s Aunt Polly, a southern belle and wicked serial killer. The script deals with intense themes such as justice versus mercy. Will Theo’s strategy of “an eye for an eye” fare him well? You’ll have to watch to find out.

In 2020, Dangerous swept the screenplay awards circuit, receiving top prizes in various high-profile writing competitions. It was the 2020 winner of the Screencraft Action & Adventure Screenplay Competition, out of 1,300 submissions. Dangerous is currently the #1 adventure short script of all- time on Coverfly, and it also sits within the top 3% of the 56,000 total scripts on the site. Dangerous has also received semifinalist accolades from the Filmmatic Short Screenplay Awards, Scriptation Screenwriting Showcase, and Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards.

Jacob Dalton is supported by several up-and-coming indie filmmakers, producers, and actors. Numerous members of the team recently received an Honorable Mention in the Russo Brother’s No Sleep Till Film Fest. The creative team includes:
