May 11, 2021
Portia Taylor has completed her new book "From My Heart to Your Heart with Feelings": a gripping and potent collection of short verses, describing moments of deep sadness, loneliness, happiness, and pain.
Author Portia Taylor describes one of these moments in great detail, writing, "The sound of a loaf of bread opening would bring him to kitchen for a piece of bread. Which he would take in his big mouth quickly and beg for more. And when eating cereal in the morning would also bring him running, always looking for a few that would drop on the floor. It was always a fun time when he would beg for food. He was one of a kind, loved by many and feared by many. He liked to play in the water when David took him to the park and the lake, and he would call his name to come and play, he also liked to ride in the car; it was a big thrill for him. He is greatly missed and will always be in our heart. He was our dog, loved and missed."

The flaw in Australia’s ‘China threat’ thesis

Edwards, a former senior economic adviser to former Labor prime minister Paul Keating, makes the observation in a Lowy Institute paper released in October and in a newspaper interview. Instead, he sees US-China rivalry as a...
