Kate Cerny has completed her new book "Finding My Grace": an inspiring story about a woman's courageous battle with breast cancer. When author Kate Cerny was diagnosed at age 37 and had to undergo aggressive surgery and chemotherapy for treatment, everything in her life came into perspective.
Author Kate Cerny introduces her story, writing, "Late September 2013—Sleep and I had become distant friends. It seemed like I rested more than anything. I would fall asleep for what I would think was a decent amount of time only to look at the clock and realize it had only been fifteen to thirty minutes. That is what strong chemo does; you are more fatigued than ever before, but you have horrible insomnia. Getting up in the morning was a chore, but yet something willed me out of bed to stumble around. I was still in the early stages of my chemo regimen, and most of the side effects were controlled. Little did I know just how bad it would get. That day, I got up and wandered."
Published by Newman Springs Publishing, Kate Cerny's compelling work allows readers to see that choosing to live with a terminal disease takes deeper healing and acceptance of imperfection. The resilience and determination of a life with metastatic breast cancer can't help but inspire.
Readers who wish to experience this gripping work can purchase "Finding My Grace" at bookstores everywhere or online at the Apple iBooks Store, Amazon or Barnes & Noble.
